Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Praktice, operated by SVISS43 Advisory and Technology Services Private Limited ("SVISS43", "we", "us").

By creating an account or using Praktice, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a firm, you confirm you have authority to bind that firm.

1. What Praktice is

Praktice is practice management software for professional firms. It provides a work register, client records, task assignment and approval, recurring work generation, billing and collection tracking, expense management, staff and attendance records, and reporting.

Praktice is a record-keeping and workflow tool. It does not provide professional, legal, accounting or tax advice, and it does not file anything with any authority on your behalf. Deadlines, statutory positions and the accuracy of work performed remain entirely your professional responsibility.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information when signing up and keep it current.

You are responsible for all activity under your firm's account, including that of every user you create. Keep credentials confidential. Tell us promptly at support@praktice.in if you believe an account has been compromised.

When you create a login for a staff member, they are required to set their own password at first sign-in.

3. Subscription and payment

Trial

New firms receive a 15-day free trial. No payment is required to start.

Plans

• Starter — ₹499 per month, up to 5 user logins
• Growth — ₹699 per month, up to 20 user logins, with additional logins at ₹99 per user per month

All prices are inclusive of GST. Where you provide a valid GSTIN, a tax invoice showing the applicable tax component will be issued.

Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Payments are collected by Razorpay. You authorise recurring charges for the plan you select, including any additional-user charges arising from the logins active on your account.

Changes to pricing

We may change our prices. Existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice by email before a change takes effect, and may cancel before it does.

Non-payment

If payment fails, we may suspend access to your account. Data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from the Billing section of your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

Subscription fees, once charged, are not refundable, in whole or in part, including for partial months, unused time, or periods during which you chose not to use the service. Please cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next period.

5. Your data

You own the data you put into Praktice — your client records, tasks, fees and everything else your firm enters.

You grant us only the permission necessary to store, process and display that data so the service works, and to back it up.

You are responsible for:

• Having the right to record the client information you enter, including PAN, GSTIN and financial details
• Complying with your own professional and statutory obligations regarding client confidentiality
• The accuracy of what you record

We will not access your firm's data except where necessary to operate the service, to resolve a support request you have raised, or where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use Praktice for anything unlawful
• Attempt to access another firm's data
• Probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Resell, sublicense or white-label Praktice without a written agreement with us
• Upload malicious code
• Use automated means to extract data at a scale that burdens the service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Praktice available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades, third-party provider failures and events beyond our control may cause interruption. We will give notice of planned maintenance where practical.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Praktice is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business, goodwill or data
• We are not liable for any missed deadline, penalty, interest, late fee or professional consequence arising from your use of, or reliance on, Praktice. Managing your professional deadlines remains your responsibility
• Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify SVISS43 against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the service, or a claim by a third party (including your clients) relating to data you entered.

10. Suspension and termination

By you: cancel at any time, as described above.

By us: we may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. Except in cases of serious breach, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy.

On termination, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. You may request an export during that window.

11. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-application at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept, you may cancel.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ernakulam, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
